Professor Brand founded the Center for International Legal Education at the University of Pittsburgh. He coordinates all of our work and is available to talk about visiting professorships, participation in CILE programs, CILE publications, new ideas, and much more. He especially likes to hear from alumni.

Assistant Director

The Assistant Director works with J.D. students to identify international opportunities, including overseas internships and study abroad programs. They work with the LL.M. program, identifying applicants and helping current students settle into the academic system at Pitt Law. They help arrange special lectures on international topics and works with all of the international moot court teams sponsored by the Law School.
