PUBHLT 2009, PIA 2553, or consent of instructor. This course is specifically designed for students at the Schools of Medicine, Public Health, Public & International Affairs, and Law who are enrolled in the INCIGHT Program and who have completed PUBHLT 2009 and PIA2553 (or who have completed at least one of them and are taking the second concurrently). The course will build on the knowledge and skills of the first two courses and apply them to a particular health problem in a specific community in the developing world. |

Grading
The policy analysis and action plan will be the final product of the course. The faculty (Professor Barnard and colleagues from the other three schools) will evaluate the project for disciplinary integrity and completeness, and the country representatives will evaluate it for relevance, feasibility and potential community impact.
