Additional Info
There are no prerequisites for the course. It is expected that the course will enhance each student’s basic knowledge of civil procedure, contracts, and tort law. While a basic understanding of conflict of laws and EU law may be helpful, it is not necessary to successfully complete the course.
This course will meet during the first seven weeks of the spring semester (January 9 through February 25). There will be a total of 28 hours of class over seven weeks (two sessions of two hours per week).
Grading
Students will be graded on the basis of a paper (25%), class participation (15%) and an exam (60%). The exam will be given approximately one week after the last class session.
