Additional Info
I have built this course around the theme of “legal theory, the very idea.” We will read some of the great theorists and anti-theorists of the 20th century. I have developed the reading list for the first half of the semester. We will construct together the balance of our reading list.
Grading
I will assign short (one or two pages) papers throughout the semester -- a total of six or seven papers altogether. My evaluation of those papers -- and of your contributions to the group discussions -- will determine your grade in the course. There will be no final exam.
