Professor Flechtner’s section of the course also includes substantial coverage of the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods (“CISG” – in force in the United States since 1988), modest coverage of UCC Article 2A on Leases of Goods, and limited coverage of a federal consumer protection statute, the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act, applicable to transactions in consumer goods.
