The Practicum will be staffed by Attorneys John Stember and Stephen M. Pincus of the law firm of Stember Feinstein Doyle & Payne, a law firm located in downtown Pittsburgh that specializes in employee rights. John Stember has represented thousands of claimants over his thirty-year career at Neighborhood Legal Services and in private practice, and has directed a UC clinic at Duquense Law School. Stephen Pincus was a clinical teaching fellow at Yale Law School and has focused his work in the area of employment law over the past fifteen years. The UC Practicum is a 2-credit course – 720 minutes (eight 90 minute sessions) of classroom time and at least 52 hours of field work. Students may choose to work on cases in the spring semester for additional credit.
