Semester in D.C. Program

Announcement:  Pitt Law students, there are two Semester in DC Program student panels at the law school this week:

(1)  Monday, Feb 6, at 5-5:45 p.m. in rm. 109

(2) Tuesday, Feb 7, at 4:30-5:15 p.m. in rm. 107

Students who have participated in the SDC Program will discuss their experiences and answer questions.  This is a great opportunity to get the scoop on the program from the students who have been in your position and can offer advice about the application process,  preparing to spend a semester in Washington, pros and cons of the program, and making the most of your time in DC.

The Semester in D.C. program enables Pitt Law students to spend a semester in Washington, D.C., working as an extern for a government office or non-profit organization under the supervision of a faculty member based in D.C.  Check out the information here on the website! Then, if you need more information, contact the program director, Professor Elena Baylis, at pittindc@pitt.edu, and we’ll be glad to answer your questions.
