What Is The Pitt Law Firm Challenge?

The Pitt Law Firm Challenge is an innovative opportunity for Pitt Law alumni at participating firms, corporations or organizations to increase the school’s Annual Fund in a fun and challenging way. Led by representatives at each firm, alumni are encouraged and inspired to join together and meet the participation giving challenge. Any gift made from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009 counts towards this year’s Challenge.

How Does The Challenge Benefit Our Firm Or Organization?

The Challenge helps build a strong Pitt Law alumni network and allows firms to enhance their recruiting prospects at Pitt Law. Helping Pitt Law remain competitive among its peer schools also ensures that Pitt Law will continue to attract the brightest law students and faculty, which in turn trains the next generation of super lawyers.

Firms and organizations that participate in the challenge will receive special public recognition.

How Does My Participation Benefit Pitt Law School?

Your gift provides necessary financial support for important programs, scholarships and other resources necessary to attract the best student body and faculty. Alumni participation is also necessary to make sure that Pitt remains competitive with its peer schools. Law school rankings are directly impacted by a school's level of financial resources, and alumni giving is an important component of those resources.

Do Gifts I’ve Made To Other Schools At Pitt Count?

Gifts made to other programs at Pitt are not credited to the Law School for our alumni participation rate. We ask that you also make a gift, of any amount, to Pitt Law, to increase our participation rate and make a difference for your alma mater.

Do Gifts I’ve Made To Other Things At Pitt Law Count?

Any gift made to Pitt Law during the fiscal year, July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009, will count towards the Pitt Law Challenge.
