Pitt Law Firm Challenge Rules
Who Is Eligible:
Any firm, corporation or organization with five or more Pitt Law alumni is eligible to participate in the Pitt Law Firm Challenge. At least one alumnus/alumna must volunteer to serve as a Challenge Representative. He or she will be responsible for encouraging fellow alumni to participate in the Challenge.
Competition Categories:
Firms compete in groups based on the number of alumni employees:
- Group I (41+ alumni)
- Group II (21 - 40 alumni)
- Group III (11 - 20 alumni)
- Group IV (5 - 10 alumni)
Dates Of The Pitt Law Firm Challenge:
The Challenge runs between April 13 and June 19, 2009, but any gift made to Pitt Law between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009 counts towards the Pitt Law Firm Challenge.
How Gifts Can Be Made:

Throughout the Challenge, we will send you periodic updates on how your firm or organization is doing. Track your progress online!
How To Win The Challenge:
There are a number of ways to win the Challenge. Recognition will be given to the firms with the:
- Highest percentage participation rate (by group)
- Greatest number of overall participants
- Largest total dollars raised
- Most number of Law Fellows ($1000+)
Recognition:
Firms that participate in the challenge will receive recognition at a special event and will be listed in the Law School’s Honor Roll of Donors.
All “Law Fellows” ($1000+) will be invited to the Law School’s annual holiday luncheon.
The firm(s) that win the Challenge will receive: Public recognition in the Pitt Law Magazine, the Honor Roll of Donors, and on Pitt Law’s website.
Any firm that achieves 100% participation will receive the recognition listed above, as well as special public recognition, including signage prominently displayed at the Pitt Law School reunion weekend event.
We also will acknowledge every donor by sending them a thank you letter for their contribution.
