Dean Carter to be Featured on KQV's Pittsburgh Profiles Show September 8
KQV RADIO’S award-winning public affairs program Pittsburgh Profiles will feature an interview this weekend with William M. Carter Jr., dean of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Carter—who is widely respected for his scholarship in constitutional law, international human rights law, and issues of social justice—became Pitt Law’s new dean on July 1, 2012. He previously served as a member of the faculty at Temple University Beasley School of Law and Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Elaine Effort, the host of Pittsburgh Profiles, will discuss with Carter his vision for building on Pitt Law’s existing strengths and for moving the School of Law to even greater heights. Carter also will discuss his commitment to Pitt Law students and their professional development.
This weekend’s edition of Pittsburgh Profiles will air on Saturday, September 8, at 6:30 a.m. The show reaches listeners throughout the Pittsburgh metropolitan area on KQV 1410 AM and a much broader audience on www.kqv.com.
