Thank you for your interest in Pitt Law 2.0: Blogging for Lawyers.  Registration is currently closed.  Due to the overwhelming response, we will be hosting an additional Pitt Law 2.0: Blogging for Lawyers workshop in the fall.  Be sure to check back at a later time for more details!

A blog is a website that you can make for free and populate with small bursts of information:  introductions to legal processes, summaries of cases, ideas about when prospective clients should call you, leads to legal information sources… causing people to discover you as a helpful expert as they explore the Web for answers to their legal problems. And if you are between jobs, a blog is the perfect way to keep your knowledge current and your name in the field.

In this two hour workshop, Linda Tashbook (who is an expert blogger and a licensed attorney) will help you build your own blog tailored to your individual taste and incorporating your own content. As we develop blogs in the workshop, the presenter will demonstrate how to present your information without creating attorney client relationships, appearing to practice law in states where you are not licensed, or violating out-of-state advertising laws.

This is an exciting introductory program, no Web development experience is necessary, that will result in a valuable resource for marketing your law practice.

*A Complimentary Lunch will be provided

**Participants are expected to bring their own laptop
