Amanda Ellis, Esq. is a published author and accomplished legal recruiter who frequently speaks at law schools across the country regarding how law students and attorneys may incorporate social networking in their job search.  Ellis will focus on the “Big 3” sites – Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter- and will discuss such issues as maximizing your online profile, how to tell if an employer or recruiter viewed your LinkedIn profile, how to add contacts to your network before you them, etc.

Ellis will be doing a “live makeover” of a 2011 alumnae’s LinkedIn profile, and will also demonstrate how she worked with a current Pitt Law student to create a “polished” LinkedIn profile.

Free copies of Amanda Ellis’ book “The 6Ps of the Big 3 for Job-Seeking JDs” will be available.  Please join us for this exciting presentation and learn how to utilize the six elements (the “6Ps”) in your social networking:  Professionalism, Profile, Privacy, Performance, Practice and Protocol.

Refreshments will be served.
