Jean Monnet Lecture: "Civil Jurisdiction of European Courts over U.S. Parties"
Foreign Visiting Professor Dr. Davor Babić will present the second of this year's Jean Monnet lectures on European Union Law. Lunch will be provided. CLE credit is available.
Dr. Davor Babić teaches Private International Law, Arbitration and ADR at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law. He has published on various topics related to private international law and international dispute resolution. He served as the Secretary of the Permanent Arbitration Court and Mediation Centre of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. He is an active arbitrator and mediator in international commercial cases. Professor Babić has had a key role in Croatia's negotiations on accession to the European Union.
