Golden Gavel Society Luncheon
The School of Law started the Golden Gavel Society last year. The society honors Pitt Law alumni celebrating 50 or more years since graduation. Once inducted into the society, members are forever recognized, invited to the annual luncheon, and donned with a Golden Gavel Society sash. For this year’s ceremony, we are inviting back all alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago.
Graduates from the classes of 1940-1963, are invited to attend the Golden Gavel Society luncheon on Friday, May 10, 2013, as well as the School of Law’s 2013 Commencement ceremony that same day (3:00 p.m. at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum). At the luncheon, you will have the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and other Pitt Law alumni. Following the luncheon, you are invited to attend the Commencement ceremony, where you will be seated in a special section and officially inducted into the Golden Gavel Society by University of Pittsburgh Law Alumni Association President Bruce Fox, Law ’84.
