1L Mentoring Program for Diverse Law Students: 2013 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Success in Law School Mentoring Program
The Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity (LCLD) is excited to offer the LCLD Success in Law School Mentoring Program for first year law students. LCLD is a national organization of more than 200 corporate general counsel and law firm managing partners, formed in 2009 to make concrete, measurable advances in diversity in the legal profession. LCLD defines diversity as being “from ethnic and racial minorities; women; lesbian; gay, bisexual or transgendered.” Students wishing to participate in the LCLD Success in Law School Mentoring Program must register on a first come, first served basis online at the LCLD's website starting on October 14, 2013. Please register on LCLD’s website, using the following link: www.lcldnet.org/mentor. Matching will take place for each student within two weeks of registration into the program.
Attorneys Jackie Bryan and Dotun Obadina, both at K&L Gates LLP, are the city leads for this LCLD program and will be presenting the Open Forum on October 3, 2013 from 12:30 – 1:00pm in Room 107. Pizza will be served!
Interested students should register for the Open Forum via Symplicity by noon on Wednesday. October 2, 2013. Business casual attire required.
