Innovators, Esq. presents Pamela Rollings, In-House Counsel for the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. Ms. Rollings joined the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy as in-house legal counsel in January 2015. The Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, works with the City of Pittsburgh to restore the City’s park system, with major projects including the Frick Environmental Center, Schenley Plaza, and Mellon Square. Ms. Rollings started her legal career at Buchanan Ingersoll, where she became a partner in the Corporate and Banking Groups. She then moved to her biggest client to serve as Chief Counsel for Corporate Banking at PNC Financial Services. After working for 20 years, she left full-time employment to focus on family matters, spending five years in Dubai where her husband opened the Middle East office for his law firm in 2009. She continued to do pro bono legal work, while also consulting for PointLegal and volunteering for several school and nonprofit organizations.

Mr. Rollings has served on several local boards, including the Urban League, the Yale Club of Pittsburgh, the Fox Chapel Racquet Club, Pittsburgh Dance Alloy (where she served as Board President) and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Western PA Chapter). She was a member of Leadership Pittsburgh Class VIII.

Ms. Rollings graduated from Yale College in 1976 with a B.A. in Russian Studies. She received her law degree from the University of Virginia Law School in 1979.

She was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, while her husband Neal Brendel is a native of McKeesport, PA. They have two sons, Ross, 28 and Kurt, 27.
