Haider Ala Hamoudi on the Iraqi Parliamentary Election

Professor Haider Ala Hamoudi is quoted in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review in connection with the Iraqi parliamentary election.

A second national election in any young democracy marks progress, said Haider Ala Hamoudi, a University of Pittsburgh law professor who worked last year with the Iraqi parliament.

“You sort of start to set a tradition that you’re supposed to have elections and they’re periodic,” Hamoudi said.
