Welcome to the website for Intellectual Property and Technology Law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. This site collects information about and links to relevant curricular opportunities at Pitt Law, including the Certificate Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Law, extracurricular moot courts, writing opportunities, and fellowships. The site also includes information about intellectual property and technology law organizations and developments in and around Pittsburgh.

"Intellectual property law" encompasses patents, copyrights, and trademarks. "Technology law" deals with legal aspects of computers and the Internet and biotechnology. These two related fields are among the most exciting and challenging areas of contemporary law practice. Pitt Law has a distinguished tradition of scholarship and teaching in these disciplines. We hope that this site provides the information you need to learn about how Pitt is building on that tradition.
