David Harris on How Penn Hills Homicides Illustrate Difficulties of Gun Control

Professor David Harris discussed the recent case involving a double homicide in Penn Hills to illustrate how tough it is to use gun control measures to make society safer.  Professor Harris was interviewed on KDKA TV in Pittsburgh on the day that President Obama announced a substantial number of gun control proposals.  Harris said that those proposals would not have changed the situation with the Penn Hills shooter, who used an AK-47 he obtained illegally with its serial number filed off; that conduct is already illegal, but the law didn't stop it.
