John Burkoff on Jury Deliberations in Penn Hills Homicide Case
Professor John Burkoff explained that the slow course of deliberations by a jury hearing the case against a man accused of a killing in Penn Hills was probably just a sign of the care the jury was taking with the evidence. While he would have expected a quick verdict, Professor Burkoff said that the slow pace of deliberations indicates the jury is doing its job well.
