Pitt Law's award-winning legal news service is accepting 1L applications for student staff positions. JURIST staff members will have the opportunity to develop numerous skills vital to the practice of law, such as research, analytical and writing skills, working under deadlines in a team environment and developing contacts within the legal profession. Additionally, JURIST staff give back to the larger community in the spirit of pro bono work.

Successful applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic, responsibility, attention to detail, ability to take criticism and interest in current legal developments. The ability to read a foreign language is a plus. Applicants will undergo a rigorous selection process, including a written audition and interview.
