The Alabama Court of Civil Appeals recently cited Professor Rhonda Wasserman’s article,
Parents, Partners and Personal Jurisdiction, 1995 U. Ill. Rev. 813, in
Ex parte Diefenbach, -- So.3d --, 2010 WL 5030126 (Ala. Civ. App. Dec. 10, 2010). The opinion relies on the article for the proposition that a court entering or modifying a child decree must have personal jurisdiction over the child’s parents.
