Charles Jalloh Presents at Emory Law School

Assistant Professor Charles C. Jalloh presented a paper at Emory Law School in Atlanta, Ga., on February 26, 2013, as part of a symposium titled Moving Forward: The Future of the ICC in Light of Recent Developments. He spoke on the panel “Challenging Impunity: A Discussion of the Thomas Lubanga Trial,” arguing that the appointment of Fatou Bensouda as prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) offers an opportunity to “reset” the relationship between the ICC and African states in order to assist the court in ensuring justice for victims of international crimes in Africa.
