Greg Jordan, '84, Talks About What U.S. News Rankings Don't Tell You: What Hiring Partners Want from Graduates
In a recently posted op-ed, Pitt Law alumnus and Reed Smith global managing partner Greg Jordan, '84, shared his thoughts on what employers are really looking for when evaluating potential employees: actual performance ability. Jordan questions the data points used by U.S. News and World Report for their yearly law school rankings, noting that hiring partners want capable, well-educated graduates who have studied at law schools with more modern and innovative curricula, information which isn't necessarily captured in U.S. News rankings.
