PLISF Scholarship Applications Available March 6th. DUE MARCH 13th.

Publish Date/Time:
March 5, 2014

Have you applied for or accepted a non-paying summer legal position with a public interest organization? Will you be a student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law next year?

If you answered yes to both of these questions you may be eligible for a PLISF Summer Scholarship. PLISF raises money throughout the year, mainly at the Annual PLISF Auction, to fund scholarships for students who take non-paying summer legal employment in the public interest sector.

Interested students should add “PLISF” as a TWEN course. The application for a summer scholarship will be available March 6, 2014 starting at 1:00 PM on the TWEN site.  Completed applications must be resubmitted to TWEN by 5PM on Thursday, March 13, 2014. Instructions are included in the application packet on TWEN.

The application process consists of the application packet and a short interview with the scholarship panel. If you are invited to participate in an interview, they will take place between March 17 - March 21.
