Ben Bratman on Legal Typos and Their Consequences

Professor Ben Bratman presented "Typographical Errors and the Law: From the Amusing to the Consequential," on Friday, March 23rd, at the Rocky Mountain Legal Writing Conference, held at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, Arizona State University.  Professor Bratman's presentation and accompanying bibliography were designed primarily to give legal writing professors a collection of real-world examples of lawyer typos from which they could draw in crafting readings and lessons on the importance of attention to detail in the practice of law.
