David Herring Presents His Work on Assessing Law Student Learning Outcomes at the University of Akron School of Law
Professor David Herring spoke at the University of Akron School of Law on Monday, April 9, at a faculty workshop focused on Professor Herring's work in assessing law student learning outcomes in relation to the basic skill of cross-case reasoning. Professor Herring presented his two recent papers in this area, which found that a short writing assignment accompanied by formative feedback produces significant learning gains in comparison to the traditional case-dialogue method of law teaching.
