Allegheny County Judge Kim D. Eaton Receives Judge James R. McGregor Award

According to a recent Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Newsmaker story, Pitt Law Alumna and Allegheny County Judge Kim D. Eaton received the Judge James R. McGregor Award for Exceptional Contributions to the Community from Amen Corner at the organization's annual Judicial Reception in April.

“One of the reasons I'm really excited about this award is because it comes from my colleagues,” Judge Eaton said to the Tribune-Review. “And I can think of no bigger award personally than to have the respect of people I respect.”

Judge Eaton is a judge in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Family Division and she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1981 as president of her class. Before her election to the bench, she was head of the matrimony division at the former Rose, Schmidt, Hasley & Disalle law firm.
