May 2014 Graduating Students: Bar Preparation Scholarships Available

Publish Date/Time:
April 3, 2014

The Law School is pleased to announce that it will offer a limited number of scholarships covering tuition for a commercial bar preparation course offered by a national test preparation provider.  These scholarships will be awarded based in part on demonstrated financial need. All May 2014 graduates of Pitt Law are eligible to apply. (The Law School is considering the possibility of offering scholarships for December graduates, but any financial assistance for December graduates will be addressed in the fall semester.) Students who have already paid a deposit or full tuition to a commercial bar preparation provider are eligible to apply, and the Law School will assist any who are selected for scholarships in seeking refunds from the commercial provider. The application can be accessed here: http://www.law.pitt.edu/resources/academic/barexam. The link on that page will send you into Box, Pitt’s secure document repository, where you can download the application in fillable PDF form. Alternately, you can obtain a hard copy from Caitlin O’Connell in Room 504. Please direct questions to Professor Bratman. Applications are due by Monday, April 14.
