John Burkoff on the Effect of an Incorrect Date in the Sandusky Case

Publish Date/Time:
May 8, 2012

Professor John Burkoff explained that an error by prosecutors concerning the date of one of the sexual assaults in the case against former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky will not destroy the case against Sandusky.  But the mistake could be the end of the cases against two former senior Penn State athletics officials.  According to Professor Burkoff, "the change in date doesn't affect the Sandusky prosecution, but it may be the coup de gras for the Curley-Schultz case."
