Six Pitt Law Students Awarded Language Studies Fellowships

Six Pitt Law students have been awarded Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowships for language studies during the 2013-2014 academic year. The FLAS Fellowships are offered through the University of Pittsburgh University Center for International Studies (UCIS) Area Studies Departments.  The fellows are Kimberly Bennett, Erica Kelly, Trevor Krost, Nikolay Markov, Caleb Pittman, and Christian Minor Sanchez. The purpose of the FLASF program is to assist in the development of foreign language skills and resources, to train personnel for modern foreign language and area studies, and to develop a pool of international experts to meet national needs.
