Allegheny County Bar Foundation Names 7 Pitt Law Students As Summer 2014 Fellows
The Allegheny County Bar Foundation named 10 Lawyers Fund Law Student Summer 2014 Fellows, seven of which are Pitt Law Students. Each student selected will work at participating public interest organizations that offer free legal services to low income residents of Allegheny County.
The Pitt Law students named and their selected organizations are Jordan Berty, Christian Legal Aid; Anthony Jackson, Conflict Counsel; Tyler Klein, Disability Rights; Kaylee Klixbull, District Attorney; Mary (Kate) Shawley, Education Law; Jonathan Ross, Pro Bono Center; and Claire Throckmorton, Women’s C&S. The Law Student Summer Fellowship Program will run from May 27, 2014 through Aug. 1, 2014.
