Jessie Allen on the Impact of the Supreme Court's Wal-Mart Decision

July 10, 2011 Professor Jesse Allen explained that the U.S. Supreme Court's recent decision in the Wal-Mart v. Dukes case will have a big impact on how employment discrimination cases are handled. But what form that impact will have will not be clear for some time. Professor Allen said that “[a] decision like this can be interpreted narrowly or broadly and can be pushed in one direction or another by subsequent cases in the federal courts, and really at all levels.”
