John Burkoff on Jane Orie Restitution

Professor John Burkoff commented on the restitution, fines and costs imposed on convicted former state senator Jane Orie.  According to Professor Burkoff, the total of $180,000, about half of which will come from Orie's pension, "seems like a reasonable amount to compensate the public for what Sen. Orie did while at the same time not being outrageously expensive..."
