Pitt Law faculty weighed in on the partial verdict in the Jordan Miles case, a closely-watched federal trial in Pittsburgh.  The plaintiff accused three Pittsburgh police officers of malicious prosecution, illegal arrest, and excessive force.  The jury returned a verdict for the police on the malicious prosecution claim, but could not reach a verdict on the other two.  Professor Burkoff's comments appeared in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; Professor Harris spoke on KQV Radio.
