Study Ranks Pitt Law’s Faculty 47th in Scholarly Impact
The Pitt Law faculty ranks 47th in the nation in scholarly impact, according to the results of a July 2012 study conducted by Professor Gregory Sisk and his colleagues at the University of Saint Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minn. Utilizing the methodology of previous studies produced by University of Texas Professor Brian Leiter, Sisk ranked the 70 law faculties with the highest scholarly impact, based on both average and median impact as measured by citations per faculty member.
