Pitt Law Alumna Laura Ellsworth Wins 2013 Greater Pittsburgh Athena Award
 
This week Laura Ellsworth, '83 , was named the winner of the 2013 Greater Pittsburgh Athena Award, according to a recent story in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The Athena Award honors local women in business. Ellsworth graduated magna cum laude from Pitt Law and went on to become partner-in-charge of the Pittsburgh office of the major global law firm, Jones Day.
 
In addition to her work at Jones Day, Ellsworth is vice chair of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, chair of the Pennsylvania Economy League of Greater Pittsburgh and chair of the United Way Women's Leadership Council.
