Jessie Allen on Possible Civil Liability for Penn State

Professor Jessie Allen told the Pennsylvania Independent that civil liability is a real possibility arising from the Penn State scandal, and that this could hit not just former coach Jerry Sandusky but Penn State itself.  "When something bad happens, sometimes civil liabilities follow, so it's certainly not out of the question that somebody could sue not just Sandusky, but the school and others," perhaps resulting in significant costs to the University.
