John Burkoff on Charges Against Former Penn State Pres. Spanier

Publish Date/Time:

Professor John Burkoff commented on the criminal charges filed by the state attorney general against former Penn State President Graham Spanier.  Spanier's lawyers have called the charges politically motivated, but Professor Burkoff disagrees.  I've always been impressed with the attorney genera's integrity, and it's very hard for me to believe there was any political motivation at all in the bringing of these charges since they are so well laid out in the presentment."  See the full story in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette here.  Professor Burkoff's comments on the case also appear in an article in today's Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
