Reminder: Law School Scholarship Opportunity for 2Ls from the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation- Application Deadline December 3, 2012
The Pennsylvania Bar Foundation, the charitable affiliate of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, annually provides four, $3,000 scholarships through its James W. Stoudt Memorial Scholarship Fund. Two of the scholarships are specifically designated for support of historically underrepresented minority law students.
The awards are based upon financial need, academic achievement and a student’s potential for making a significant contribution to society in general and the legal profession in particular.
Students must affirmatively demonstrate their interest by completing the application form and submitting a 250-500-word essay about how they meet the eligibility criteria, proof of academic progress and good academic standing, proof of Pennsylvania residency, a resume, and up to two letters of recommendation from a faculty advisor, professor, dean, employer or lawyer.
