David Harris Talks About Lies by Prosecutor During Investigation

When police investigated allegations of drug use and trafficking by an assistant prosecutor, they tipped off the assistant prosecutor, compromising the investigation. All three men were questioned about this under oath, and lied, but corrected themselves several days later. The officers are under internal investigation, but the chief prosecutor sees no reason to discipline or look into the conduct of assistant prosecutor. Professor David Harris disagreed in an interview with the Louisville Courier-Journal: "To admit you lied in an investigation where you were the subject, and it involved law-enforcement conduct, I find that very troubling."
