Seasonal Affective Disorder Lamps Available From The Law Library
As the days get darker and colder, know that the library has Seasonal Affective Disorder lamps that you can use to boost your mood and energy. Check one out from the circulation desk, position it at a 45 degree angle to your eyes about 2 feet away from your face, and set the timer for 15 or 30 minutes. You may only use these in the law library, but we have lots of good comfortable spaces where you can sit and get some work done while the lamp brightens your day. Note that SAD lamps are not recommended for people who experience mania, who take photosensitive medications, or who have lupus.
