Welcome to the School of Law
Become a part of Pitt Law, learn about its rich history, and embrace challenging opportunities. Choose from six specialized areas of study in our J.D. program including Health and Environmental Law. Those interested in joint studies can choose from six Joint J.D. programs. Students will gain actual client experience in Family Law, Elder Law, Tax Law, and more, by participating in our six clinics.
The cost of a legal education is a big investment for you. With this in mind, Pitt Law provides financial support to help you meet your educational goals. Because our commitment to providing access to an excellent and affordable legal education remains strong, Pitt Law students graduate with student loan obligations that are well below the national average. Scholarships are available to qualified applicants. Loans may be secured through federal and private sources, and the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid will help you navigate the application processes. There are even ways in which we can offer you loan repayment assistance through endowed financial programs. Read more details below.
