The University of Pittsburgh School of Law is delighted to offer travel stipends* to students requiring air travel to Pittsburgh. In addition, for those students traveling over a 100 miles, the School of Law is happy to provide a two night stay at the Wyndham Hotel University Center*. *The University of Pittsburgh will cover up to $400 towards the ticket of the admitted student. Hotel rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis until the block of rooms is full.

Parking

Pitt Law is proud to offer discounted parking at Soldiers and Sailors Parking Garage located a few short blocks from the Law School.   Just bring your parking ticket to the Open House Registration table to have it validated.

Barco Law Buidling Tour – Depart from the Court Room

Take advantage of this opportunity to see the Barco Law building. Explore the Barco Law building  with one of our Pitt Law Ambassadors as they share their experience with you.

Campus Tour - Tour of the University of Pittsburgh campus (optional)

This is an opportunity to see the Pitt community and Oakland outside of the law school.  Our Pitt Law Ambassadors will show you other areas outside of the law school that you should take advantage of as a Pitt Law student.  You are able to walk to the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh, Schenley Park, Phipps Conservatory, and much more!

Molly's Trolley Tour - Relax and enjoy a tour of Oakland's surrounding communities as we make our way to the Allegheny County Courthouse.

10:30am - 11:30am

Tour the Allegheny County Courthouse – Meet Federal Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania, Judge Lisa Lenihan.  Judge Lenihan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  Judge Lenihan will allow us to tour her chambers. (Please note that we will have to go through security.  We ask that you leave all of your belongings on the bus.) 

11:30am - 12:30pm

Molly's Trolley Tour – Explore downtown Pittsburgh and Mt. Washington as we make our way back to the University of Pittsburgh
