Biography

Michael George is a sole practitioner in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he is engaged in the representation of plaintiffs in personal injury matters with an emphasis in medical malpractice, products liability and motor vehicle collisions and has obtained multiple million dollar verdicts and settlements in medical malpractice actions. He received his BA in political science from Bowling Green State University and his JD from Duquesne University. Mr. George is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ), the American Association for Justice and the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

He is also a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.  Mr. George is an elected fellow of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and has been named to "Best Lawyers in America" and Pennsylvania “Super Lawyers” in medical malpractice. He has also earned the highest possible rating with Martindale-Hubble (AV), for both legal ability and personal qualities such as reliability, diligence and ethics. Mr. George is a frequent lecturer for PBI and PAJ on medical malpractice matters and has been an adjunct professor at Pitt Law since 2005 where he has taught the Expert Witness course elective in the Civil Litigation Certificate Program.
