Grading Details
Grading will be based on a two hour final exam given one week following the final class.
Description
This one-credit course will cover selected issues raised over the course of arbitration, including drafting of the arbitration clause, initiation of arbitration proceedings, section of a tribunal and potential challenges, case management, taking of evidence, and post-award proceedings for both challenging and enforcing an award. It will build upon a basic knowledge of arbitration, but will have no pre-requisites. The class will be presented over a one week period in March, with readings required prior to each class session.
