Course Description

This course will focus on helping students to understand how to resolve disputes without trial. The course will explore mediation, arbitration, negotiation and other dispute resolution processes. The course will be interactive and experiential requiring students to participate in role plays, exercises and presentations involving dispute resolution problems and techniques. The course will also focus on the role of language and culture in resolving disputes.
