1L Informational Session: Alumni Mentoring Program
Please join the Office of the Dean, in collaboration with the Offices of Alumni Affairs, Admissions, and Professional and Career Development, for this informational meeting regarding the inaugural Pitt Law Alumni Mentoring Program. The purpose of this pilot program is to grant an inaugural group of 40 first-year Pitt Law students the opportunity to develop a long-term, professional relationship with a practicing Pitt Law alumnus/alumna who will assist the student with their professional and career development.
Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for any 1L student seeking to participate in the program.
Please note that the program will only accommodate 40 1L Pitt Law students this academic year.
First-year law students will have the opportunity to learn from experienced attorneys about study habits, exam success, course selection (in the spring semester), how to manage competing time commitments, and how to develop into responsible and ethical attorneys.
Applicants will be required to complete a survey form following the meeting in order to be considered for the program.
