Haider Hamoudi Presents His Work at Maryland Law's "Constitutional Schmooze"

Professor Haider Hamoudi presented his work at Maryland Law's Constitutional Schmooze, which took place on February 24 and 25.  Professor Hamoudi's paper, "Identifying the Canon from the Anticanon," was part of two days of papers and discussion on the existence of a global constitutional canon.  Known more formally as the Maryland Discussion Group on Constitutionalism, the Constitutional Law Schmooze continues a tradition started nearly 20 years ago to provide constitutional scholars with an opportunity for informal dialogue on interesting and provocative topics.  Participation is by invitation only.  The gatherings bring together leading scholars from the legal academy and political science with interests in comparative constitutional politics, American constitutional politics, political development and political theory.
