Published September 24, 2014
Attention: 3Ls and 2Ls!
You are invited to join the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Chapter of the American Inns of Court
- The American Inns of Court is a national organization designed to improve the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar. Members include lawyers, judges, and law students.
- The chapter meets once a month on Thursday evenings (usually the third Thursday) during the academic year to hold programs and discussions on matters of ethics, skills and professionalism, and to socialize and "break bread" afterward. Each member joins a “pupilage” group that plans and delivers one of the presentations.
- The Inn’s events are a great opportunity to network with lawyers and judges from the Pittsburgh area.
- There are only 20 student (pupil) spots available, so apply early. Though preference is given to 3Ls, applications by 2Ls are gladly accepted. Deadline is September 5th
Dues are $25; applications available outside Prof. Bratman’s office or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
